Interview
First step as usual with HR screening and then manager. No director interview. My role is market associate which needs me to handle issues from hotel partners.
HR was helpful and generous with sharing about company profile and what I need to do with the job. It was a smooth process.
Difficult with manager due to the competitive environment in Online travel agent, they want to know how we will sell the product.

- How would you up-sell a product that your competitor has?
- How would you handle when your hotel partner did not give you the same rate that they gave to your competitor?
Three stages with three different people. They move pretty quickly which is nice. Typically all from the same department as well! They ask more thought provoking questions than job specific ones
There were 2 rounds of interviews. The first interview was a video recording where you had to answer a couple of open questions and the second one was an online interview with a person.

The first stage was a hirevue interview with basic questions like why do you want to join Expedia, when was a time you struggled, introductions, and etc. it took about fifteen minutes to finish the video interview and it also included a few questions about availability
