Experis Recruiting Researcher interview questions

Great welcome but the interview was very biased given that I studied in U.S. but the interviewer was British. As a result, he failed in his Objectivity given that he told me (a man) that he needs somebody who is good on the phone and acknowledged that I have the right education. However, he is not sure if a man can be better than a lady. That was very unfortunate experience. I wondered why I got the interview in the first place?
