I applied online and a recruiter contacted me several days later. They explained some more details about the teams looking to hire, and the company in general. An online interview was scheduled for later that week.
For the interview, I logged into their remote system, talked briefly about myself, and went through several short programming exercises. These were straightforward String manipulation problems, but it was my first interview and I was very nervous, so my work was not great. Right from the start, the interviewer seemed like they'd rather be doing anything else. I received a boilerplate rejection email later that day. Afterwards, the recruiter promised to give me some feedback about how to improve, then ghosted me.
Overall, the experience got my nerves out a little, but otherwise felt like a waste of my time.
