I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at F5 in Aug 2022
Interview
I got the job vacancy email from companies HR itself that your profile is matching and apply for a specific position on the f5 career portal. When I have applied, HR called me and told that, you are not eligible for role as recruiting manager knows you very well and he is saying you are not developer but the tester. To my surprise, I asked his name, after knowing his name I understood he was the same guy who was sacked from my current organization due to a performance issue and he just held a grudge on me. I have explained to HR that my total experience is of development only, and she must have shortlisted my profile by looking at my resume. Later she said that she will get back to this after discussing with him again, but within half an hour I got an email from f5 career page that my candidature was rejected. I didn't even get a chance to appear for an interview just because of the recruiting manager's behavior. Very bad culture for organizations like f5.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at F5 (San Jose, CA) in May 2015
Interview
Recruiter called to setup a phone call with the hiring manager. Several days of silence then sudddenly a date is fixed and the hiring manager calls you for initial phone screening. Pretty simple stuff like C++ templates, iterators, SSL, difference between active and passive FTP. Since I already had an offer from another company and had to make a decision so pinged the recruiter and she quickly setup an onsite interview. It was a lengthy onsite process in which you ended up talking to 5-6 engineers and the hiring manager as well.

Interview
I reached by an H.R in linkedIn. Then I submitted my application for it.
Received a mail from H.R for the first round of interview where I gave a brief introduction and my past experience roles and responsibilities. Later on, I had an interview with the director. All went well I got some positive response from Director but after a week I got a call stating I got declined. Overall process went very smooth. I wish response time should be reduced a little.

Interview
The interview took around 2+ weeks via zoom. First there was a Hacker Rank test, then a Technical round 1 (On standard DS algo questions related to linked list, strings, arrays ), and followed by a Cultural Fit round, then a Technical round 2(again medium level questions on ds algo and some random questions on networks, C etc) , and then Hiring manager interview (questions related to experience, debugging, virtualization, networking) and he started asking puzzles (which i didn't expect). out of 2 questions on puzzles I couldn't answer one and for the second one I said the approach. But i felt the guy has poor communication and soft skills though he might be technically good. I couldn't properly understand sometimes what he is actually asking or saying due to improper sentencing and was very hurry to point out mistakes than the usual way of guiding.
I didn't get any response even after two days and then I followed up with HR. He emailed saying we can't proceed further.
I saw some other people experiences in glassdoor and it was same. They were been taken through all rounds but at the end they were rejected. Sad that they are wasting peoples time.
