F5 interview questions

I applied online and got the Phone interview. After the interview, there was no response for more than a week, and then got a call from a different team in F5 for another Phone interview. I was then selected to go onsite, where they decided to interview me for 2 different teams. Overall I was very confused as to what position they wanted to really interview me for. Onsite Interview process consisted of a coding test and then a 1:1 with members from different teams. Interview questions were standard, pretty much the same as the ones posted here. Few other questions, print binary representation of a number, how will you delete node from binary tree. One guy asked me questions in networking and he wasn't sure of the answers himself. He was clearly not a networking person, and rambled on TCP header and datalink layer header fields. Even after I tried to explain to him the actual field values, he wouldn't listen to me. They should make sure the interviewers ask only questions related to their domain.

The interview process went very smoothly. I met with the HR Rep, then the Manager and the 3 other developers on the team. Each of them had there own interview style but each style complemented the other. I felt that I was able to accurately portray my personality and qualifications for the position through this style of interviewing. The interview consisted of theoretical questions, white board coding questions, and personality questions.
