Interview
I applied online through a job portal for the FDM Singapore office and got an email requesting for a phone interview a few days later. I passed the phone interview and was invited to an assessment centre the next day.
At the assessment centre there were 6 of us, for both Project Support Officer and technical streams. There was a HR presentation about the programme, including videos summarising the presentation. The presentation emphasised the 2 year commitment period as a bond for the training one would receive as part of the programme. The head of HR in Asia also talked to us and further emphasised on the 2 year bond.
After that were the tests, an aptitude test on logic and some basic IT knowledge (1 hour), a Math test (21 questions in 15 mins), and a set notation test (1 hour). There were some basic pseudo code questions for the aptitude test like strings, printing values, and whiles. The Math test did not allow calculators so do know long division, multiplication, simultaneous equations, indices and roots. The assessment centre email stated that it is at GCSE standard. The set notation test was manageable, as there was a booklet provided about everything you need to know for the test.
Two days after the assessment centre I got a call saying I was not selected for the programme and they gave me feedback that the interviewers could not see ambition, drive and motivation for the programme in my answers and that I should have strong convincing answers in my interview preparation.

Question 1
The phone interview was about 20 minutes, about my motivations and why I was interested in pursuing a career within Project Support/Management, and also why I want to work for FDM and why I am interested in them as a company.
At the assessment centre there were 2 interviews, one with the programme trainers and the other with the account managers. Each interview asked 5 set questions. The trainer asked why IT, a recent IT development that caught my attention, Apple or Android (can't remember the last 2). The account manager asked why did I choose my degree and would I choose it again if I could choose (can't remember the rest).

Interview
The interview process was well structured and the interviewers were all very friendly and welcoming. The company culture was apparent from the interview process, everyone was supportive and they allowed me to express my personality without feeling nervous.

They ask you questions to test you on their 7 strengths. E.g. how willing you are to seek opportunities, to leave your comfort zone, to build relationships.

Interview
Several phases to complete. First a phone interview followed by a video interview and finally an assessment day at their building in London Bridge. Assessment day included multiple interviews and assessment, some with a mathematical focus and others with IT focused questions.

Can't honestly remember to many specific questions on the assessments but alot of the material you need to use for preparation is provided by a recruiter via email. The interview questions weren't very complicated and can't remember any real curve balls.

3 interviews at assessment centre, very friendly, strength based questions that you cant really prepare for but always try to link back to experience. provided lunch on the day which was lovely.
