I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2014
Interview
Applied to ad via resume via indeed.
Got a call not long after. Maybe even same day or day after.
Scheduled a phone interview.
Phone interview basically asked behavioral questions.
Then scheduled in-house assessment day.
Was with 8 other applicants on assessment day.
We did various tests, ranging from math to aptitude and logic.
Was kind of fun, networked with 8 other smart professionals my age.
At the end of the day FDM was offering a LAUGHABLE salary and a contract the greediest lawyer wouldn't make you sign:
TERMS OF THEIR CONTRACT
----------------------------------------
- You must sign a 2 year contract with them.
- The first 4 months are training, you are paid $MINIMUM WAGE$
- After that, you will have the opportunity to get placed into a blue chip company. You will need good communication skills to be considered. Otherwise you float around.
- When you're placed at a company, your 2 year contract starts. Now you are paid $37,000 for two years. Of course the blue chips pay FDM more than that, but they pocket it all.
- IF YOU QUIT, YOU ARE CHARGED A $30,000 PENALTY FOR LEAVING YOUR CONTRACT EARLY.
Interview questions [1]

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at FDM Group (Sydney) in Jul 2020
Interview
The interview for me was done over the phone. I don't remember who interviewed me, but they went out of their way to make the interview as comfortable as possible. The questions were pretty standard for someone who knows has sufficient technical skills. I didn't quite do well when it came to communicating my points but I did use that experience and improved myself for the next interview.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FDM Group (Serangoon, ) in Jan 2020
Interview
Started with a telephone interview which asked about background and some brain teasers.
This was then followed up with an Assessment Centre on site at their office. The AC began with an aptitude and set notation test and followed by three separate interviews. Entire AC took about 4 hours.
