I was referred by an employee which just got me to the first stage. There were 3 stages overall: 1) Interview with Recruiter. Very casual, comfortable initial interview. General questions around what I was looking to achieve, why I wanted to work for the company, nothing too intense. They were super friendly and easy to talk to and ask questions. I was invited to next stage within 24 hours. 2) A week later attended an 'Assessment Centre' with 4 other candidates. First hour was individual, with 2 tests to complete. Excel test included things like averageifs, ranking, essentially just the top 10 most popular excel formulas. Then was showed one of FactSet's products in a 6 min video and quizzed on it afterwards, there was nothing you could have done to prepare. Again, within 24 hours was invited to final stage. 3) Final Interview. Panel interview with 3 consulting managers. Questions included motivational, behavioural, situational, and a couple testing financial whereas (such as how would an Investment Banker use FS vs a Portfolio Manager).
