I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FactSet (London, England) in Mar 2013
Interview
Once you submit the CV and cover letter and get through the 3 test (financial, numerical and excel) which are pretty easy compared to the other tests. Then theres the assessment centre, where you have a group exercise which is just prioritising a list of tasks and then what they call a micro teach, you are told to prepare in advance something to teach (non-finance related - the simpler the better for 10 minutes. Lastly theres the final interview which is with two consultant managers. Questions were pretty standard: why this particular industry? where else have you applied? questions on your CV? where would you invest your money right now? what finance topic interests you at the moment? who are the competitors - how does FactSet differ? The interviewers were very nice but do ask a lot of questions so know why you want to work there
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FactSet (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2018
Interview
Average process. Nothing special. I remember them asking me about their company’s stock price at the start of the day of my interview. No one was very interested in interviewing me and came off distant. They did treat me to lunch however, but the two gentlemen that escorted me were plain individuals with little to add to conversation.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FactSet (Fortaleza, Ceará) in Mar 2016
Interview
applied online process took 2-3weeks
Video interview with HR. Try to stay relaxed during interview my interviewer was making notes herself so didn't really have time to look up at my body languages etc i made some key notes on the side and referred to it quickly. I wasn't really interested in factset so was happy with the outcome used it more for interviewing preparation for other companies. Hope this helps someone who's keen to work there
