I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FactSet (Boston, MA) in Apr 2015
Interview
Day 1: Apply with resume and cover letter
Day 2: Asked to phone interview. I replied with my availability.
Day 10: Phone interview finally arranged for that day. Easy phone interview. Invited to interview in person
Day 12: Interview along with other candidates. Rotate between four interviews after viewing a software demo. The demo did not work, and they blamed the internet connection. Two young consultants took us to lunch after the interviews. At this stage that I learned the key to acing a factset interview: have an employee referral. The consultants and candidates then spent the lunch discussing their referrals and what friends they had in common. The consultants had been referred themselves and they informed these candidates about the referral process and how well it works. I felt left out.
Day 28: No response yet, fairly unprofessional.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at FactSet (Hong Kong) in Aug 2024
Interview
Straightforward. You begin with a telephone interview, followed by a group interview with you work on a group project and share a talent/skill you possess. If successful, you will then go through several rounds of interview with hiring manager and other senior stakeholders.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FactSet (London, England)
Interview
There was an initial virtual interview with HR and then an interview the the manager from the US. HR lady was friendly and was fast to respond to emails. The manager didn’t seem experienced in interviewing, he said so himself and went for someone that didn’t require onboarding training. He said he doesn’t expect knowledge on equity when being quizzed on it but yet the reason for not getting the role was lack of knowledge on it. Was not pleased with this misleading behaviour. The decision felt rushed as they only gave a reply once I emailed so felt like they already had the candidate chosen.
