Interview cycle took approx. 10 weeks.
1. Applied online then contacted by HR for screener
2. Interview with hiring Sr. Director.
3. 3-person panel interview for domain expertise, product design, behavioral fit.
4. Completed a prompt exercise.
5. SVP interview, which was delayed and rescheduled.
6. Received generally good positive in real time, especially favorable responses on case prompt exercise and regarding prior experience.
7. Radio silence for approx. 10 days after final convo, then HR emailed saying candidate debriefs were occuring. Would receive final update soon.
8. HR sent another follow-up email stating update forthcoming and asking about my other prospects. I confirmed I'd finished final loops with 2 prospects, and received a competing offer that I would decide upon by end of business week. The gap in updates and waiting signaled to me they'd offered another candidate and was waiting to see if they accepted before informing me.
9. HR asked to schedule call to confirm they were going with another candidate. I wished them best of luck and hoped the other was a good fit.
