I’d love to get a sense of the types of questions typically covered in the technical interviews so I can prepare in a focused way.
Will the interview include SQL and Python questions, and if so, will they be more geared toward data manipulation, query optimization, or algorithmic problem solving?
I’m also curious whether BigQuery or any other cloud data platforms are part of the tech stack, and if so, whether interviewers expect familiarity with platform-specific features.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fannie Mae (Reston, VA) in Sep 2024
Interview
The interview process was pretty simple. They had asked me behavioral questions and a couple of technical questions. For instance, a technical question they asked me was related to Python. The question was "How would you handle missing data code-wise"?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fannie Mae (Reston, VA) in Apr 2022
Interview
Interview process was smooth and easy the only issue with the interview is that it felt rushed because they needed to fill the position quickly. This should have let me know that the company was constantly moving people around.
