Interview
I signed up for the interview during a campus job fair. The first interview involved meeting (virtually) with the recruiter from the job fair, as well as a programmer. The interview was mostly basic interview questions like "why do you want this job" and "tell us a little bit about yourself". The programming portion was incredibly easy; just make a program to list off a certain number of prime numbers. They also ask questions like "explain inheritance to a 5 year old". That's probably the hardest one. Half of the questions were about whether I was willing to relocate for the summer, where I would like to go and why, etc. They really want to make sure that you want a job with them, which is very appreciated. Very pleasant interview process overall. They called me and told me that I had reached the second stage, but then called about a week or two later and told me I got the internship, so I guess I just must've done well?
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain Inheritance to a 5 year old.
Write a program to list the first 100 prime numbers.
What do you know about what FAST Enterprises does?
Only 1 Teams interview, first part was "technical" which was write a program to find first 100 primes. Then write another program to determine if a number is prime or not. Study that and you are good for the interview, no need for Leetcode.
Second part was behavior, I was asked about myself, what I know about Fast, and if I'd relocate. I was also asked to describe how a credit card works to a 2nd grader.
The interviewers were ok, it felt very corporate as opposed to a conversation. But it was still easy and wouldn't stress over it.

Interview
I got my interview from a career fair at my university. They took me and the other interviewees to dinner the night before the interviews and it was a really great experience. The interview was very simple and not very technical at all. They seem to value being able to hold a conversation well over most other things
I applied online. I interviewed at Fast Enterprises in Jan 2026
Interview
I interviewed through the Grow With Fast Program, which was a 10-week program in the Fall with weekly 1-hour meetings going over life at Fast, resume help, and interview prep. You also have to submit an OOP project that you have done through coursework or a personal project at the end of the program. This program got me a guaranteed interview for a summer internship. The interview was 1 hour long, first 20 minutes were behavioral questions, the basic why do you want to work here or tell me about a time when. The next 30 minutes were a very easy technical question, which you wrote a pseudocode solution to. The last 10 minutes are logistical questions and your questions for the interviewers.
