I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at FedEx (Charlotte, NC) in May 2016
Interview
Applied online for a Sort Observation for the next day. Went in & they emailed me within the hour a job application to fill out along with an assessment test. Filled out both as soon as I recieved it. Next day got a call to come in for a interview at 10:45am. She emailed me a consent for background check as soon as I got off the phone. Filled it out & completed it. Went to my interview today. They said I will get a call back. Now just waiting.
Mostly based off work history. They seem felon friendly. I do not have a criminal history. Personality test not difficult. They responded within 4 weeks. Haven't been there physically or meant face to face.
Super easy process—mostly online application with basic questions about availability, ability to lift 50-70 lbs, and fast-paced work. No tough interview; quick hire after background check. Positive and straightforward. Definitely worth it.
