Extremely unprofessional and disorganized interview process. I was initially told it would be a two step process, which then turned into a 4 step process, essentially continuously moving the goal post.
Refused to reschedule the 1st interview after I contracted COVID. Further to that, they expect you to drive to their head office in day and age where an interview can be done virtually from anywhere. Considering it was a 300KM drive for me in total, this was essentially an application fee for an interview.
They also continuously mislead you, for example after the 3rd interview (after it was suppose to be only 2) I was told they would make a decision on my application, and all I needed to do was to provide references, I agreed. They then reneged on their own process and asked for further interviews after they called my references! Very unprofessional and blatant dishonesty. When a company asks for references its the verify your employment, standing etc., and then to make an offer, not to ask for further interviews which is what they do.
Another massive red-flag is the hiring manager refused to share any details on the quota, KPIs, general past performance of reps, and other important details any sales rep would need to know. Very cloak and dagger type stuff, very odd.
On top of all that, the managing director no-showed me on the 4th interview , again very unprofessional. I then had to drive in to meet him, costing me time and money. After the 4th interview, I was told a decision would be made that day, but guess what? They lied to no-ones surprise. I then was told they had some "unexpected applicants" and wanted to keep me waiting for another 2 weeks, promising me I was "right there" . I declined to wait and withdrew my application after all the lies and dishonesty as they would not make an offer. I would avoid this position and company if you have another opportunity lined up, which I did.
