I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at FedEx (Whittier, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Signed up for a observation sort which lasted for about 15 minutes. Basically just get a tour of the warehouse and ask questions. We then got to apply and had an interview on the same day. Got a call back 2 days later to start orientation next week. It will all depend on the location.

Question 1
Can you lift more than 50 pounds?
Name a time when you had to solve a problem at work?
Mostly based off work history. They seem felon friendly. I do not have a criminal history. Personality test not difficult. They responded within 4 weeks. Haven't been there physically or meant face to face.
Super easy process—mostly online application with basic questions about availability, ability to lift 50-70 lbs, and fast-paced work. No tough interview; quick hire after background check. Positive and straightforward. Definitely worth it.
