I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Federated Insurance (Owatonna, MN) in Feb 2018
Interview
Started by talking to them at a career fair. Had an online assessment which mostly was pattern analysis, very tricky basic math questions, word associations and such but only had 15 minutes to go through 40-50 questions I think. Kinda rushed through it but still got a phone interview the week after. Lady on phone asked me some generic HR questions, how I heard about the company and why I'm interested in working for them. On-site interview comes after with a tour of the facility and potential supervisors asking you non-technical questions. Probably just one technical question throughout. I think its just them making sure that you like the company environment/culture first before thinking about the work.
Initial phone interview with HR through Microsoft teams (behavior questions), pattern recognition pre-employment assessment(online15 minutes 50 questions), and 2.5-hour on-site behaviour interviews with manager/director+job shadowing. No technical questions. The whole process is very new graduate friendly.

Interview
Math and Logic test. Phone Interview. Face to face interview for 3 hr with 2 people individually. Another face to face 30 min interview and 1 hr job shadow. Its a very long process. I was very positive with my interview but was very surprised getting the rejection without any explanation, a whole month long process ended like this, kinda disappointed.
