I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Federated Insurance in Sep 2015
Interview
The hiring process with Federated Insurance is an extensive process with multiple meetings encouraged. The interviewer made a point to help to relieve nervousness and was extremely easy to talk to. Federated insurance has a top-notch training program for all new employees that takes place in Minnesota. Overall, this interview was a beneficial experience.

Interview
Initial phone call screening with district manager who sounded to be a bit younger (Millenial or Gen Z) and did more talking than engaging/listening. Was told I'd receive one of those personality tests via email and asked to complete it. I did complete it and made three attempts to follow up but it's been a month and I've been totally "ghosted." A prime example on how this generation has no sense of decorum or respect, have some fortitude about yourself and have the nerve to send a quick note letting a candidate know something and don't waste their time.
I interviewed at Federated Insurance (San Marcos, TX)
Interview
The interview process was long but the recruiter was very friendly. The first time we met was at a Sales Event for my university and we went onto meeting several times to talk about the position and the requirements for the role. The process went on for about 3 months and then the recruiter let me know that he wanted me to have some experience in Sales.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Federated Insurance (San Jose, CA) in Jan 2023
Interview
Super lengthy but it makes sense because they are investing a good amount into you. i made it to the 4th or 5th interview and did a ride along and then had to do a write up. They wanted me to do yet another ride along. and that is when I stopped. Good people they are just very selective it seems like. Also, they do an at home interview which is odd. 8 month training program in Minnesota which also threw me off because I do not want to live in Minnnesota for 8 months.
