About a week after applying I received an email to set up an 15 minute HR screen. The screening went well and I was moved on to complete an excel test. The test consisted of coming up with product descriptions, SKUs, and doing some research on your own. I completed it in about 2-3 hours and sent it back. I guess I passed because I was moved on to interviewing with the hiring manager and two leads via Teams. The interview itself wasn't too difficult, but I could tell by their energy I wasn't liked so I expected a rejection. After about 2 weeks I received the no thank you letter. Thankfully, an even better offer came through in that time paying $8/hr more than Ferguson was offering so no big deal. My only regret is completing an unpaid project on my own time. Not worth it, especially for $17/hr.
