Fetch has one of the more lengthy interview processes I have come across in my current job hunt. This starts at the application stage when you must complete a CTF assessment before you can apply to the role. I was then reached out to by a recruiter requesting a 30 minute phone call. The next rounds were a phone screen with an EM, a take home coding assessment comprised of implementing a backend server with several APIs, and finally an introduction to a new recruiter who would be my POC for the remainder of the process. The "final" round consisted of 5 30min-1hr long interviews over the course of a day with focuses on technical experience and management style. After this round, I was asked to have one additional round with the HM before ultimately being informed I was not selected. Overall, while each step of the process was not intensive nor remarkably challenging, the overall time commitment was upwards of 15 hours. I would recommend keeping this in mind when determining how to balance applying/networking other opportunities with this process.
