I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Fidessa (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2015
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiting company that was working for Fidessa. It starts off with with a very simple 5 minute online timed quiz. Basically, the give you a small spinet of pseudo code and you are to state what output would be generated. It really just tests your understanding of conditional statements. The recruiting company stated that most of the people who have taken it have failed. Honestly, just breathe and figure out what the functions do first before looking at the if-statement. Once I passed that, I was given a phone interview with a person in the HR department. It's a pretty standard phone interview except she did ask a couple of technical questions. After going over my background, it was decided that they wanted me to be further along in my program and to keep in touch. If you get past this point though, you will take another assessment before scheduling an in person interview. This one is much longer and more thorough.

Interview
Easy C++ test then a 1:1 zoom call with one of the managers (Doug). He was super disrespectful and arrogant, questioning the technical parts of my previous job as if he knew better. Got ghosted by the company after.

The process includes the online coding section and the phone interview process. The phone interview is mainly about the algorithm with Leetcode easy level questions. The questions are required written in C++.
The interviewer did not have communications.
Applied online, and then sent an OA, but I didn't pass. The OA is about two coding questions for 90 min. It was a positive experience that you know what you need to practice.
