I applied online and about a week later received a call from HR to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. The phone interview went well, and the interviewer said he wanted to get me in as soon as possible for an on-site interview. I didn't hear anything for over 2 weeks when HR called and wanted to set up a 2+ hour interview for the next day. I interviewed with 4 people and it seemed to go very well. I had another phone interview with HR after that, and the recruiter said that they were deciding between me and another candidate and that they would let me know by the end of the week. They never got back to me.
I called to follow up after not hearing by the deadline they had set, and the recruiter said they were still deciding and would let me know soon. They never even bothered to give me the courtesy of a quick email or phone call after I spent hours interviewing with them. I find this behavior so rude and unprofessional.

Tell me about a time when you faced a challenge. Can you share an experience in which you encountered a challenge?
Normal phone interview with a follow up in person, they had me come into the office and meet with potential people from my team. Overall, it was a very seamless process.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Fifth Third (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2017
Interview
Mainly just a conversation about culture, what I was looking for and thoughts on Fifth Third. Was an extremely casual interview, just as much about me fitting in as it was for me evaluating Fifth Third.
