Pretty straight forward. They move the process along quickly. Everyone has been very nice and respectful so far. Timeline so far: Applied to position on June 13th, received an email from the recruiter June 13th on the same day as I applied. Had a phone interview with the recruiter June 14th. **Just a heads up - they do not do phone screens like most other companies. Unlike other companies where recruiters focus mainly on the position during the phone screen they focus almost entirely on you and your background. They dig very thoroughly and ask lots of questions about you and your experience. Call lasted about 25 minutes.** In branch interview is scheduled for June 20th.
Completed the in branch interview yesterday on the 20th. They ask questions following the STAR format. They only asked one of the regular "tell me about a time when questions" and it concerned teamwork and my ability to work on/contribute to helping a team. They also asked about technology and "tell me about a time when you had to use technology to help you in your current or previous role." They also asked me to tell them about a time that a coworker was having difficulty and how/what did I do to help them overcome said difficulty. Interview was with Branch Manager and Regional President. The Branch Manager was only able to come in on the end half of my interview because the Branch was short staffed and he was having to help. The bulk of my interview was with the Regional President and she was very nice to speak with. I was very nervous but she helped to put my nerves at ease with how calm she was. She was very transparent with me about how many interviews they had left, when I could expect to hear of a decision and what the next steps would be if I were to be selected.
**Also the stated salary for the Personal Banker Associate 1 opening that was given to me was $21.00 an hour.**
UPDATE: I was notified yesterday on 06/27 that I had not been selected for this position.
