I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at First Republic (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2017
Interview
I was brought in for an initial interview with two HR team members. They asked general interview questions and did not seem that engaged in what I was saying. I think it would have been more productive if they asked specific questions. The interview took half the time that was allotted and was very dry. It would have been more efficient if a phone interview was conducted first. I already knew I didn't want to work there by the time I walked out.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at First Republic in Jan 2023
Interview
It was standard - phone screen, a few digital and then in person interviews. They hire people for their values and who they are as people, almost more than their experience (but need to meet qualifications).

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME
I have gonna thru the process twice in the last few weeks. BOTH times I followed thru. Guess what? BOTH times they decided to put off hiring until next year and budget resources accordingly. The right hand literally doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Get it together FRB!
