Flex Manager - Legal interview questions

The interview went very smoothly. I got positive feedback. However, they asked me to wait so they could interview other candidates, as per their process. They kept me waiting for two months. Later, they informed me they wouldn't be taking my profile forward without any explanation whatsoever. I understand if a candidate is not a good fit, as I have been on the hiring end of the table. But keeping them waiting without proper communication is a bit arrogant. HRs should understand that it's only a two-way street, both the employee and the employer benefit.
