Flock Safety interview questions

The interview process was broken down into 5 interviews over the span of a couple of weeks. After hours upon hours of calls and time spent on an homework assignment, I received an offer for the position. I followed up with the recruiter asking for slightly more money as is common, but then 5 days later after asking for an update I received a phone call stating that they were rescinding the offer due to changes in priorities with the team, and I was provided zero information other than that. No one from the leadership team took the time to reach out to me, no other opportunities were discussed, and I was kicked to the curb. Do not waste your time with this company, they don’t care about their candidates or the effort people put in to working there, and they aren’t organized enough to know their priorities a week out after offering someone a job. Stay away from Flock Safety.

Hours after I submitted my application, I was emailed by a recruiter to schedule my first interview. In the two weeks following, I had an interview with the hiring manager, and another interview with two prospective colleagues. I was interviewed at the closing of Q2 and was told there might be slight delays in decision making because of that, but there was always clear communication about when I could expect to hear back with a decision. The hiring manager personally reached out to me a few days later to extend an offer. Overall the process moved quickly and the recruiting team ensured consistent communication throughout the process. I especially appreciated this after seeing some reviews here that mention others experienced poor communication and ghosting. I luckily had the opposite experience and would give my recruiting team a big gold star!
