I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, MI) in Feb 2013
Interview
Hiring process was initiated by contract house/agency. I was asked to interview for a position with FoMoCo in early 2013. I was well received by my interviewer and was shown around the place I'd be working at, if hired. The interview process began in the morning and lasted not more than 30 minutes. Despite the favt that I was being interviewed for a technical position, the questions I was asked were more behavioral and generic.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked about me beng able to put in hard work and effort when required.
It was straight forward with a significant technical component, everyone was professional and friendly, they seemed most interested in understanding the process by which you think as opposed to the answer itself
Ford asks basic questions that are set. They want to make sure you have Ford+ values more than job skills or knowledge. All questions were "tell a time" or "what does this mean to you" questions.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, MI) in Jul 2017
Interview
4 Interviewers, 2 on-site, 2 call-in. The manager first introduced their group and describe what they do within their group. Then he asked me to explain the list in my resume in details. Later they asked me questions about the classes I have took and the proficiency of the softwares that I have used.
