A recruiter reached out to me regarding the opportunity. After an initial phone screen, I completed a conversation with internal talent acquisition. Next, I completed a virtual interview with the hiring manager/research director. During that interview, I was informed to allow 30 days for the process. Then, I completed two one-on-one interviews with peers and one interview with another research director. I advanced to the writing exercise and presentation phase of the process. I gave the presentation four weeks after my interview with the hiring manager. At that time, I was informed by the talent acquisition individual that I would be contacted with a decision in the next few weeks. Six weeks after the presentation, having received no communication, I followed up with the talent acquisition individual and hiring manager via email. Three days later, the individual called to inform me I was not selected for the position. In summary, the process consisted of 2 phone screens with recruiter/talent, 4 virtual interviews, a writing sample, and presenting via Teams. The entire process took 12+weeks from initial contact.
