I had a phone interview with a recruiter in NYC for a position in Cambridge, MA. The interview went great, the questions were pretty standard, and I developed a good rapport with the interviewer. At the end of my interview I was told that I'd be contacted by the lady that would be my direct supervisor to set up a second interview. After two weeks with no word I contacted the recruiter that I previously worked with and expressed my concern, she too was concerned, and promised to look into the matter. A few days later I was informed that the person who was supposed to contact me was short staffed, and that she would set something up just as soon as she had time. After several months and still no response from anyone other than my initial recruiter, I have resigned myself that I didn't get the job, and that Forrester lacks the courtesy and professionalism to notify a candidate that they were interviewing that they are no longer being considered.
