Fortinet Regional Account Manager interview questions

During my first meeting, I was asked inappropriate personal questions (such as my age and whether I have children), which are not relevant to evaluating professional competencies. At the second meeting, the interviewer arrived 20 minutes late without offering any excuse or acknowledgment, which I found quite disrespectful of my time. Moreover, the communication between interviewers did not seem aligned. The final feedback I received was that I might be “better suited” for an ISRAM position, because I do not have prior experience in the Belgian territory (which was very clear from my CV). Additionally, this is not stated anywhere as a requirement in the role description for the RAM position. Each interview required me to prepare beforehand and to attend physically, incurring travel costs (around €60 per round trip- uber), only to be informed at the end that I was never truly considered for the role in question. This entire process gave me the impression of a lack of professionalism and coordination, which does not reflect positively on Fortinet’s image. I share this feedback not out of resentment, but in the hope that it helps improve the candidate experience going forward.

Der Prozess war sehr chaotisch, unstrukturiert und langwierig. Ich wurde zuletzt zu einem persönlichen Gespräch ins Büro geladen, wo wir alles, aber nicht Business gesprochen hatten. Danach habe ich nie wieder etwas gehört. Keine Absage, kein Mäh, kein Muh.
