The process was initially communicated as a two-interview setup. I participated in the first interview, which was a challenging technical discussion that included code live challenges in Python and SQL with the client, and I believe it went very well. However, I was informed three days later that the feedback was really good, however the position had been filled with an internal resource.
This experience was disappointing. It felt like a waste of time and reflected a lack of coordination and transparency between Fortitude Systems and the client. Clearer communication and better alignment would have helped set more accurate expectations.
Due to this experience, I’ve decided not to pursue any future opportunities with Fortitude Systems.
