I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Fortitude Systems in Dec 2014
Interview
I interviewed with a few different members of the team. I have a friend that works at Fortitude currently and that person advised me to just be myself. Every interview was completely different. Very conversational, not canned.
This isn't the type of interview where you can find out the questions beforehand and then have the answers all lined up. That was what I gathered. I had breakfast, lunch, and a final interview with two of the executives.
I did not get the offer. My friend said they though I was a great interview, they just didn't think I would thrive in their company.

Question 1
Like i said above it was conversational and not canned.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Fortitude Systems in Oct 2014
Interview
I wasn't expecting such a polished recruiter. Within minutes he knew that I was more technical then functional. I get too many calls about functional positions that never fall into my day to day and salary expectations. This was a breathe of fresh air. The recruiter went in depth about my past position and the position before that. He learned exactly what I was doing technically and what I enjoyed to do. He boiled it down quickly to what type of position would benefit me. The quick meeting we had in person at the office in VA was refreshing as well. We went over the position in greater detail and got to know each other pretty well even though it was only about a 15-20 min meeting. I loved the no BS approach and time sensitivity.
