Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you deal with telling a parent that their kid cannot move up a level.
I interviewed at Foss Swim School (Apple Valley, MN)
Interview
The interviewer seemed incredibly new and had only had the job since April and I assume that this was their first job as they only kept to a script and never answered any of my questions but only talked back at me as if the reading a script. Of all the interviews I have ever done this was by far the most painful and least productive as the interviewer only seemed to be able to comprehend the questions put in front of them and was not able to deviate from the script that they were given.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Foss Swim School in Jun 2024
Interview
First interview was online through Microsoft Teams. They asked about my experience working with kids and what I enjoyed about it. They asked about what my previous job was and why I left. They could do better if they slotted more than 30 minutes to interview or do a full 60 minute interview, instead of separate interviews to save time and resources. It felt rushed, and the interviewer was 5 minutes late. I asked very good questions and was engaging. The only thing was I was not a local.

Question 1
What is required from a potential employer to retain someone like you?
I interviewed at Foss Swim School (Chanhassen, MN)
Interview
Very straightforward and welcoming! They make sure you have experience working with kids and that you're passionate about helping them learn. You also must pass a background check and drug test, which I appreciate.
