It was all very unprofessional. I had multiple HR people from Sitel contact me to go further after I sent in an application, and I told them I didn't want to proceed because I didn't have the necessary tech (I have a Mac computer). HR assured me that Sitel has a provider who provides computers so I decided to attend the interview. Once I finally did, I was interviewed by the same HR person and had to sit through over an hour of videos, video recordings, and behavioral questions. This was all done digitally with my only interaction with HR being through a chat. Once I finally got to talk to the actual person, I told her what she had told me—that I was told I would be given a Windows device for the position but I didn't currently have one. The HR person then proceeded to ghost me IN THE CHAT and then ended the whole interview without a single word! I'm honestly shocked at the unprofessional, the lack of accountability, and the fact that this company so blatantly wasted my time not once, but twice.
Dear HR,
If Sitel doesn't actually provide computers then don't lie to applicants to get them in the door! And if a Windows computer is a necessity for this position then why are you personally reaching out to Mac users and wasting their time?
