Fox Restaurant Concepts Server interview questions

I received a phone call to come in and fill out and application and to have an interview with a manager. When I got there I was told to fill out application and took a server test. It was an easy test, but you obviously have to know your stuff or you’ll fail it. The whole entire time that I was taking the test, there was a group of servers messing around in a server station. At one point I heard one of them sexual harass the other. They were talking bad about their tables, VERY LOUDLY. The whole time that I was taking the test, I was thinking about how miserable it must be to work there with all of those unprofessional children. I filled out the test and told the hostess. She grabbed the manager. (This whole process took about 40 minutes) He gives me one look and apparently decides to not interview me. It was 1000% personal, based on my appearance and I am sick of restaurants getting away with it. I know I aced every question on that test. I looked nice and smiled as big as I could. Their loss. For men, they want hipsters, the more bearded the better. For women, don’t you dare be overweight or they won’t even interview you. Also, the younger the better. Fox restaurant concepts is notorious for this. Your qualifications and personality come second and I am not the first of my server friends to say it.
