A company that boasts about its culture has some serious issues in middle management it seems. It is only after my interview that I went through glassdoor reviews and many of them had this in common. 1) HR, their communication is pathetic. 2) They will do the entire process even if candidate's expectation are out of budget. 3) Post all rounds, they will make the candidate feel that the company HR department is doing a favour by offering what they are offering even if it is way low than the expected CTC which by the way was mentioned before all the rounds. 4) After all my rounds, HR asked me my expectations again. 5) I repeated what I had said earlier. HR started acting like it was a shock and said if had an offer in hand may be then I can expect such hike. 6) So, I got an offer from another company because I was genuinely interested in joining Fractal. 7) Even after that, they said they can only offer something which was less than the offer I had and way less than my expectation. 8) Post few telephonic conversations, we mutually agreed on a number and I decided to accept. 9) Event after that, I was given the same old offer and HR said the one we agreed upon was subject to approval from seniors. 10) Almost after a week, that too after multiple follow ups, I got a call from the HR saying I couldn't get approval. 11) By the time, I was already getting on-boarding mails, even without accepting the offer. 12) I don't have a problem with what you are offering. Company budget is an important thing, Problem is the way you are treating, fooling, misguiding and in a way harassing the candidates.
