Interview
I spoke with a representative at a career fair and connected extremely well with them. She was very eager to give me an interview and said that my experience was great for the company. When came time to for the interview, the person who interviewed me had obviously not looked at my resume. She did not even know who I was. Rather than answering questions about my job experience and qualifications for the job I was asked to go through my resume. When I tried to expand on my job experience and what those jobs had done to prepare me for a job at E & J Gallo the interviewer asked me to do that later, after explaining what I did in my resume. Basic questions were then asked, like "what was a hard decision you had to make", "why are you a leader", and why a sales positions. I answered each question thoroughly, without much feedback or interaction from the interviewer. Advice to E & J Gallo is to hire someone TRAINED to do interviews and to be sure all interviewers have at least read the resume of the people they are interviewing prior to meeting with them.

The interview process was relaxed and personable. I had 2 interviews on campus and then was flown out to attend a conference where I had to give a sales pitch on myself

Phone call interview followed by video chat. Started with HR and the next interview was with the location where I applied. Very informative and a natural conversation. Can be difficult if not prepared.
