Interview
It was two step process. The first step involved HR, that probed motivation level and mental set. The second step was to verify your engineering achievements, former employment achievements and your technical expertise. Sometimes there is third step with a call to the US management to let them know you and judge your skills before they hire you.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Cincinnati, OH) in Sep 2013
Interview
All day affair. Interviewed with both senior technical staff and different level managers. In general was laid back with friendly people, but because it was a senior band job I also interviewed with one of the senior executives whose style was to stare intently without breaking eye contact to make the interview as uncomfortable as possible.
