I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GE (Fort Wayne, IN) in Oct 2012
Interview
I received an email through my school's Career Network saying that GE was looking for someone with my qualifications. I submitted an email with resume to the link provided, and 2 weeks later my first interview was over the phone and lasted 10 minutes. Second interview was with HR and the hiring manager that same week, less than 15 minutes long. It was relatively laid-back, pleasant and jovial. Best interview process ever.
