There was two important round of interview but before that hr has took telephonic for basic details which seems me the first round of Interview.
My technical round at there office was really very satisfactory and successful which was related to the tools programming languages and framework I am using. The second round was managerial round who was looking for some Superman quality in me and till today i am not understanding why the hell he had rejected me.
He asked me some questions like
how you get the requirements from your senior?
how do you begin your work after getting your requirements?
how do you intimate yourself with newly developed modules developed by others?
What you do if you found you are stuck in the problem how you handle the timeline ?
how do create test cases what procedure do you follow?
What is the procedure of getting the requirement from users ?
What are your strengths?
etc etc etc.
I believe these questions are basically organisation based different organisations have different work culture , procedures , documentations, tools , testing teams .may be we are having better documentation than GEP or we are having better technique to handle the timeline and also these can be easily grasped within 1 week of joining . Today software engineers are smart enough to grasp new things coming in their way. But still I have answered everything honestly and in the right way otherwise candidates are smart enough to lie these answers with latest skill sets.
Overall I would like to say Mr. Manager do not judge the candidate with your work culture try to understand his work culture . After all he is working for some organisation which would be a successful project.
