I appreciate you sharing your experience with us and I apologize that it didn't live up to our standards. As you can imagine, from time to time business needs change and roles are removed. Instead of wasting your time and getting your hopes up by going through with the final interview, we made the decision to cancel it. Definitely a learning experience for the recruiting team that these types of cancelations should be made over the phone to explain the situation versus a generic email.
Regarding the third interview where the interviewer took the interview from their car; I looked into this and an emergency had come up where the interviewer was unable to be in front of their computer for the interview. So instead of a last minute reschedule, they decided to proceed.
