Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn, the job seems like it aligned with my skill set. When I asked what next steps would be, she said "Please send me your resume and compensation expectations!" I sent my resume immediately and noted that this particular version was catered toward a job I'm applying for in another industry. Then I asked for a salary range because it was hard to come up with a number not having a full understanding of the role or benefits package yet. Never heard from her again.
