I applied in 2015 and was interviewed 3 weeks after my application was submitted. I was interviewed at the Mississauga office by the hiring manager, after a short telephone interview the week before. The interview seemed easy but I felt that I was more of a formality and that they weren't listening to my answers. I found out later that they hired someone the hiring manager knew from elsewhere. Not sure why this seems to happen in pharma more than other industries.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GSK (Collegeville, PA) in Dec 2016
Interview
I was rushed in for an interview in December and met with two hiring managers. It was a behavioral interview with situational questions that had to be answered using the STAR method. They let me know this before hand but it was my first experience with this kind of interview. It lasted 90 minutes and I was told there may be a second and third interview before a decision was made. I have not heard anything in over a month despite my following up twice.
