I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Galileo Learning (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
For the interview, the first step was an online application that was pretty short with a resume. Following this I received an email to schedule a group interview. At my group interview, I arrived a bit early, so I was able to have my one-on-one interview early. It was a very nice, easy conversational interview. I answered honestly about my experience with children and how I would handle certain situations. After this came the group interview. We all went around to introduce ourselves, a short video was shown, then a few people gave their opinions on it. Following that we broke into smaller groups to give our teaching demos.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If three kids all thought they had the best team name idea, how would you decide which kid gets to name their team?
The group interview was fun and not stressful at all! It was really cool to hear from other potential candidates. We all had a chance to answer questions and it became more of a discussion versus interview.

Question 1
How would you handle a child who didn’t want to participate?
Group interview with 4 other people, and the hiring manager. Very friendly. Had each of us present a camp/ icebreaker activity that we came prepared with and a couple of behavioral questions. Got a response a couple of weeks after!
