Met with several people on a phone interview and then in the office. Fairly logical questions, nothing too difficult, as long as you have the experience you shouldn't have an issue. I am in no way disgruntled nor do I typically write reviews but in this case I wanted to chime in based on some of the reviews I had read in researching the company before forming my own opinion.
Some mentioned that it is a very 'arrogant' environment and from just the interview process, I can somewhat agree. My first impression of the recruiter (and the impression continued after speaking with him further) was that he was very arrogant and generally they were interviewing for someone who fit into that arrogant culture. Makes you feel like it should be an honor just to be considered.

Question 1
As mentioned, nothing really difficult or unexpected as long as you have the experience to back it up.
I applied online. I interviewed at Gartner in Feb 2026
Interview
The hiring process felt unprofessional and poorly executed. HR asked challenging, on the spot questions that seemed designed to pressure the candidate rather than assess relevant skills, many of which were not aligned with the responsibilities of the role. The interviewer also appeared unprepared to discuss the position in detail. Overall, the process felt disorganized and raised concerns about professionalism, recruiting standards, and internal coordination.

Overall it was nothing crazy, but hard to impress since I was from outside of the business.
Team was nice and everyone quickly sold me on the company and overall focus on professional growth.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner in Jan 2025
Interview
External recruiter reached out to me based on my LI profile. After speaking, I was submitted to Gartner. I then had video call with internal recruiter. He was good at his job. He screened me and provided me with additional information about the company. I then was scheduled for an interview with the hiring manager, a newly promoted director. She admitted to having no knowledge of the role and said "we'll be learning together," No thank you.
