I had an initial phone call with a recruiter that went really well and I had high hopes with the company. I was scheduled for phone interview with a different recruiter on Thursday at 3pm. Thursday at 3pm comes... and goes. After 30 minutes past 3, I received a phone call. "Hey sorry, can we reschedule for tomorrow?" The interview was rescheduled with no time expectations (was it a 30 minute call or a 1 hour call, who knows??) Well, it was 1.5 hours. There was no active listening and no respect for my time. Many passively rude comments, "hmmm... interesting" was said a handful of times and made me feel uneasy. I asked if there was anything I could clarify, and the response was, "I just don't understand your current position. Where do you do the research."
Well, my current position is not actively participating in the research, but evaluating it, grant compliance, etc. If you took 5 seconds to look at my resume, you could see that.
"I just don't get it."
After that terrible phone call, I sent a follow up email with my schedule for the next two weeks with when I am available. Then, they attempted to schedule an "interview prep" meeting for a day I was unavailable.
I again, was passed to another recruiter (makes 3) to schedule an interview. No context if it was the "interview prep" or if it was a final interview. When I asked for clarification, the new recruiter didn't know what she was scheduling me for, and cc'd the previous recruiter to the email, whom did not reply in a timely process, and missed the day the 3rd recruiter was trying to schedule me for. Making this process a whole month now.

All of this to say... is that I have had the absolute WORST experience with interviewing with Gartner. Being bounced around to different recruiters, the complete lack of communication between them, and a very uncomfortable interview. I withdrew my application. I've honestly never seen anything like it.
