I had two phone screens (one with the recruiter, and one with the hiring manager) before being brought in for an on site interview. The day of my interview they changed my schedule from 4 interviews to two, one being a 4 person panel to interview me. I didn't necessarily mind this, but it was a bit jarring to not be aware until that morning that the schedule would be so different. The interview went well, and I received one follow up by the recruiter a week later about the timing of the decision. But the worst part of this interview process is the fact that they never followed up to let me know that I wasn't a fit - to spend all of this time talking to a candidate and then to just ghost them is unprofessional. To me it is really telling that a company doesn't follow up, and it raises a red flag on if they treat their employees well.
