My interview who was two managers. The lady began by giving me a background of the company and the types of roles that I would be doing. She was saying how much the employee training was valued at, and how if you “worked hard” and “proved yourself” that you could get some type of promotion in 6 or so months. Then she said that even though it is a part-time role they offer benefits, and asked if there were any other companies I know that offered that benefits, which at the time I didn’t. I researched later and found many articles with each listing over 10 companies. I then asked the other manager if they offer any type of reimbursement for pursuing certifications to which he said that they did, but said that instead of getting certifications, why not just have the knowledge “in here?”(as he pointed to his brain.) That makes sense to me I guess, but from what I can tell most companies look for certificates so that you can back up what you are saying. They finished by asking some hypothetical questions from a script. It was a good interview I guess but I got the sense that they were trying to embellish things at times.
