I applied to GS as a filler job until I found something more specific in my field. 2 step interview with the first being a phone conversation asking about your job experience and general IT knowledge which lasted about 20 minutes. The 2nd was an online Teams video meeting with the hiring manager, super chill and more like a get to know you vibe with some technical questions to gauge your competence. It was scheduled for an hour but went over due to just talking, again super relaxed and more like a conversation with a friend. The hiring manager decided I should be on the repair team based on my work experience and offered me the job at the end of the interview. Not a job for everyone, the pay is super low considering the daily client issues you're facing which can actually be somewhat challenging. You need to be really patient, a lot of the clients are old and not exactly savvy with technology, so some hand holding to get the job done. Great support team though, everyone was super nice and always ready to help with tech questions. A lot of very smart people working for GS, I was really surprised! Worked there for 7 months until I found a programming job that suited me.
