I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Genentech (South San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
I met a hiring manager at a university event for the company and handed him my resume at the end of the event. I was late contacted for a phone screening by someone in the same group. After that was finished, I waited for a couple of weeks. Then I was told to come into the main office for an in-person interview. Three people interviewed me at the same time, but the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. I later learned that all three would be on my team for the duration of the internship.
